Chatbot Developer at Mercy in Ohio City, OH
The Chatbot Developer will provide the full range of development for the BSMH chatbot. Working with a core development team and a variety of stakeholders, the Chatbot Developer will deliver solutions that meet business needs and create successful customer experiences. The Developer will create solutions that automate access to information, communications, operational functions, IVR, and more, ensuring that the chatbot performs successfully in a variety of scenarios. The Developer will work within the chatbot development platform and interface with a variety of delivery channels and integrations. RESPONSIBILITIES Develop responsive chatbot functionality Develop and implement chatbot workflows for automation, intents, tasks, and conversations Work with BSMH's business and IT teams to understand business requirements and define specifications Design chatbot solutions according to requirements and specifications. Validate/test technical solutions to ensure they function as per requirements Collaborate with multiple teams for QA testing and solution delivery Coordinate with core team on applicable integrations and the user experience Coordinate with core development team to ensure bot functionality meets business needs Provide applicable technical knowledge to project teams and other BSMH stakeholders Provide metrics and reporting on performance and usage as requested to inform further engagement and development Troubleshoot technical issues, including bot workflows and successful return rates Create and maintain documentation of conversation flows, FAQs, business logic, API integrations, NLP training, and testing data. Oversee the administration and ongoing maintenance of all aspects related to the chat bot technology framework, including conversation design, administration of the natural language processor, reporting and continuous fine-tuning. QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED Technical skills:
JavaScript required; HTML5, Python, SQL, and C++, Node JS all helpful At least 2 years of related development experience Overall understanding of chatbot architecture, development, NLP, and workflows Experience with AI and machine learning Experience with web development helpful Ability to provide innovate, creative solutions, solve problems, and translate needs into solutions.
