AI/Web Developer at Mercy in Ohio City, OH
DESCRIPTION (This position will focus on web development and delivery channels for Faith, providing development for the universal bot/assistant on both the bot development platform and Kora as the vision, needs, requirements, and direction all develop. This position focuses heavily on the overall front-facing user experience and delivery channels.) The AI Developer will provide hands-on development in web services, chatbot delivery channels, and the overall user experience. This includes implementing chatbot functionality according to BSMH branding and overall vision. As part of a core development team, the AI developer will analyze business requirements, interact with various teams, and be a part of solution design as well as implementation. The BSMH universal bot is in early implementation stages and requires expert development for the best user experience. This development will be ongoing, with continual assessment and growth. The AI Web Developer will be responsible for understanding the overall vision and business need, and coordinating the delivery of required functionality. RESPONSIBILITIES Gather and translate organizational needs and requirements for the universal chatbot Develop universal chatbot delivery channels, applications, and environments Develop web components associated with chatbot functionality and user experience Work with the project team to develop prototypes as applicable Build related applications following standards and best practices Lead related integrations Engage with core development team to ensure chatbot design meets all requirements and specifications, including a robust validation process and continual assessment of performance. Provide key user training on the solution where applicable. Provide technical knowledge to project teams and other BSMH stakeholders Create and maintain documentation Work with BSMH teams to manage continual cycles of development and deployment Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continually improve usage and adoption initiatives QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED OR PREFERRED Technical skills:
JavaScript, HTML5, Python, SQL, and C++, React JS . Experience with translating business needs into functional outcomes At least 2 years of web development experience that is directly related to interactive, modern user experiences. Expertise in user experience design and testing Experience in chatbot development preferred. Ability to provide innovate, creative solutions, solve problems, and translate needs into solutions.
