As a Carbon Business Development Executive, you will serve as a key member of Trimble's Agriculture Enterprise business team. You will have responsibility for driving new opportunities and initiatives with a focus on Carbon and Sustainability in the United States. You will be responsible for all direct and indirect (partner) sales within the defined region. You possess a client-centric mindset to grow customer relationships and develop new opportunities. You'll be comfortable working in a cross-functional, fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and will leverage your industry, business, and analytical expertise to support Go-To-Market strategies across all aspects of crop production and food chain cycles. This business development role will require your deep understanding of the industry and exceptional networking and communication skills to prospect and develop relationships with senior leadership and C-suite executives as you position Trimble's unique climate offering. You will be a highly flexible and driven self-starter with excellent communication skills, and will have carried a significant new-business quota with a track record of success. As a Carbon Business Development Executive, you:
Are a high-energy, enterprise sales professional with a deep understanding of the ag business, intellectual curiosity, and a proven track record of exceeding past sales targets. Engage with C-suite and senior-level executives at higher education institutions to generate new business and grow revenue. Tailor the value proposition to prospects based on in-depth research of specific business conditions, drivers, and specific knowledge of the territory & customers. Build strategic presentations and proposals and effectively deliver to small and large audiences. Manage multiple sales opportunities through the entire cycle simultaneously, working with cross-functional teams as necessary, and serve as the account lead for all adoption-related activities through agreement execution and account management transition. You are a strong fit for this role if you have:

years of sales experience; preference will be given to candidates with 3
years of Enterprise sales and crop production industry experience. A Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Agriculture or Business; a combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are needed to make complex contractual, technical and financial details sound simple, and are comfortable presenting to small or large groups of people. Experience in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment where there is frequent change and a need to demonstrate and act with a sense of urgency. A purpose-driven passion for technology that disrupts and drives change, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond to achieve goals.
Salary Range:
$150K -- $200K
Minimum Qualification
Business DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
