Head of Data Analytics at Mercy in Ohio City, OH

Summary:
The Head of Analytics leads a team to deliver high-quality capabilities and solutions in an agile way. The Head of Data Analytics will act as a voice of the end-user guide day-to-day work of a cross-functional team, focusing on the achievement of defined outcomes to impact overall business results. In addition, the Head of Data Analytics will utilize a deep understanding of data analysis, BI reporting, and a basic understanding of data science techniques.
Essential Functions:
Collaborates with Data Scientists or Data Engineers to automate or transform solutions for recurring analytics needs Hires and manages a team of Data Analysts; advises and coaches other data and analytic professionals on data standards and practices Leads the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of tools, processes, and frameworks that can increase the speed and quality of analytics outputs Solves complex business problems using analytics to deliver insights that help the organization achieve goals Works with Product Owners and Translators to identify and scope business problems that can be addressed by analytics Other duties as assigned EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree in Math, Business, or Information Systems (required)
Experience:
6 years of experience in a Business Analyst or Data Analyst role (required) 3 years of experience managing teams (required) SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Ability to own multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment Ability to self-motivate, study and stay on top of emerging technologies/trends while meeting business deadlines Function as a team member with emphasis on teamwork and sharing of knowledge Bon Secours Mercy Health is an equal opportunity employer.
