Vitamix is seeking a Sr.
Program Manager who will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of cross-functional, highly complex projects on time, on budget, and with adherence to quality standards in support of company objectives.
They will manage issues/risks effectively and ensure customer satisfaction through the consistent use of project management methodology.
The successful candidate will have prior experience managing projects/programs in a new product development environment.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Expertly serves, facilitates, and coordinates at a business segment/category level.
Collaborates and facilitates across departments (i.
e.
Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Operations) to achieve a common goal.
Guides the project team through the stage gate process throughout the project's life cycle.
Manages scope, timelines, budgets, and communications for complex projects and programs inside and outside of New Product Development.
Establishes and maintains overall project schedules utilizing critical path, standard project plans, and works proactively to identify and resolve timing concerns to deliver according to the business need.
Removes obstacles that prevent the project team from achieving desired outcomes, including scope change requests and cost challenges.
Ensures project team has necessary tools to be successful at executing per the project plan.
Identifies opportunities for improvement with any new project, utilizing warranty feedback, labor reporting, safety statistics, and material cost.
Organizes and participates in project post mortem for business results analysis (say/do), as well as identification of what went well, improvements for future projects, and/or items for incorporation into future product designs.
Drives improvements to NPD and business processes.

Must have experience making effective presentations to large and varied groups.
Ability to shift priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required 10
years experience in project/program management, including all aspects of process development and execution To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
