Role Overview:
As the Director of Project Execution, you will lead a team of project managers who are responsible for orchestrating cross-functional collaboration and communication between customers, partners, and internal departments.
Your leadership will be instrumental in guiding the successful execution of projects, meeting cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction targets.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of project managers to foster effective collaboration across internal departments (Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Field Services, and Finance) and external partners (customers, contractors, suppliers) to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery and exceptional customer coordination.
Ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle with stakeholders, including customers, technical consultants, and subcontractors, to manage expectations and ensure a customer-focused project experience.
Implement streamlined processes to communicate accurate project requirements to internal departments, optimizing scheduling, engineering, manufacturing, logistics, and financial accounting activities.
Drive adherence to commercial project controls, including budgets, change orders, and pay applications, collaborating closely with the sales teams.
Coach team members to develop comprehensive project work plans, adapting to evolving needs and requirements.
Collaborate with the Field Service Department to ensure efficient project hand-offs for on-site work, managing associated costs effectively.
Serve as an escalation point for challenging internal and external situations, utilizing data-driven decision-making to facilitate swift resolutions.
Implement and enhance the utilization of standard Project Management tools to ensure consistent achievement of quality, financial, and schedule targets.
Provide regular sales forecasts and project updates to operational and finance leadership through weekly/monthly reports.
Assess resource allocation to balance the needs of projects ranging from simple to highly complex.
Foster a collaborative environment that encourages the sharing of best practices and supports ongoing professional development through internal and external skills training.

Qualifications:
Proven experience delivering high-value projects within a Manufacturing & Engineering context for diverse strategic customers.
Strong managerial skills, capable of planning, measuring, and motivating teams to drive continuous improvement and personal growth.
Exceptional communication skills, enabling the establishment of strong internal and external relationships.
Experience within a medium to large industrial organization.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Technical expertise in power distribution and switchgear products.
Familiarity with engineering, manufacturing processes, data center infrastructure, and commissioning.
