In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise to drive data-driven decision-making processes within our retail, supply chain, inventory, procurement, and order management operations.
Key
Responsibilities:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science and analytics, with a focus on retail and supply chain operations.
Analyse large datasets to extract valuable insights and patterns, enabling the company to make data-driven decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements in retail and supply chain operations.
Utilize statistical techniques to design experiments and analyse the results to enhance business strategies.
Develop predictive models to forecast demand, optimize inventory levels, and improve procurement and order management processes.
Provide actionable recommendations and insights to stakeholders based on data analysis and modelling results.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and apply innovative techniques to solve complex business problems.
Requirements:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and/or R for data analysis, machine learning, and deep learning tasks.
Strong background in machine learning algorithms, statistical analysis, and data manipulation techniques.
Experience in analysing and interpreting complex data sets related to retail, inventory, procurement, and order management.
Solid understanding of retail and supply chain management processes, including P2P and O2C cycles.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex ideas and analyses effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience working in the retail or wholesale grocery industry.
Familiarity with big data technologies and tools for large-scale data processing and analysis.
